When you become internally secure, dating transforms—not because you performed better, but because you finally stopped abandoning yourself.
"I lead women from an insecure foundation to a Secure Garden."
My name is Samantha Jo and I live in the magical desert of Arizona. I am a trauma informed teacher, mentor, and coach. I play the role of a compassionate witness to model the unconditional love and safety you get to create for yourself.
My passion for inner work and learning about relationships began at an early age. I was a child of divorced parents, raised by a single mother who emotionally enmeshed me and experienced my first heartbreak from my father who emotionally abandoned me. I grew up in chaos and dysfunction and thereby did not have a model for a healthy relationship from either of my parents, and spent years untangling from these codependent behaviors.
I read books, took courses, went to seminars, dived into 12 step programs, saw a therapist, and learned everything I could about healing myself from childhood dysfunction. My life goal was to experience a safe, loving and secure romantic relationship, which by 32 years old, I never experienced.
I am now 37 years old, engaged to my most ideal partner, and living the dream of my heart’s desire that earlier had always felt out of reach for me.
With my M.Ed in Human Relations, I had worked in public schools for many years to now building a coaching practice. Coaching women is a passion that began in private, helping women navigate their emotions, fear stories, and trauma triggers while learning how to date with emotional sobriety, that I am now taking public to help as many women like me, heal & get into the authentic relationships they deserve. I created a framework of my transformation that leads women from an insecure foundation to a Secure Garden.
Each pillar builds on the last — not as a checklist, but as an unfolding. You don't have to be perfect at any of them. You just have to be willing to look.
Recognizing your patterns and triggers. Understanding what drives your choices before you make them — and what happens when you don't.
Nervous system tools and emotional skills that help you respond rather than react. Safety starts in the body before it shows up in relationships.
Standards that come from self-respect, not fear. Learning to hold your ground with warmth — because boundaries aren't walls, they're invitations to the right people.
Knowing your needs, honoring your identity. When you're connected to yourself, you stop looking for someone else to complete you.
Aligned action from a grounded place. You date with clarity, not desperation. You choose, rather than simply hoping to be chosen.
The Ladies Dating Lounge isn't casual conversation — it's structured transformation. The Secure Garden framework walks you through four carefully designed phases, each building on the last, so you grow from the inside out.
Examine your foundation. Identify the patterns, wounds, and beliefs shaping your experience of dating and yourself.
Build the inner architecture of security — your needs, your identity, your relationship with your own emotions.
Create a personal code of conduct. Learn to date intentionally — with curiosity, self-inquiry, and clear intention.
Show up authentically in the digital dating world — profile, photos, questions — without losing yourself in the process.
Are you hitting dead-ends, roadblocks, or repeating painful patterns in dating?
Do you identify as an "anxious attached" or avoidant person?
Do you know how to empathize, acknowledge, and attune to your own feelings?
Do you struggle with trusting and loving yourself unconditionally?
Accepting your thoughts, desires, feelings, and needs without judgment.
Belonging to yourself — fully and unconditionally, before belonging to anyone else.
Believing in your inherent value — not earned, not conditional, not dependent on his response.
Acting from a place of dignity — in how you date, how you communicate, and how you hold your boundaries.
